good evening to all, in my graduation thesis I am carrying out the fem analysis of a carpentry structure, modeled as line body through the "design modeler" of ansys workbench. the pillars that hold the structure are connected to the frame through a flanged connection. in a first analysis, I considered the flanged connection as a perfect recess at the base of the pillars. However, it would be more correct to model the flanged connection as a zipper combined with a rotational spring, just as shown in the attachment below. Since, however, on ansys I found only longitudinal and torsional springs, someone would know how to tell me how to put the rotational spring like that shown in the figure below?
