set sheet development to give it to the lamierista

Hello everyone and thank you for your help.
I try to explain in a clear way, I design the sheet metal parts in sw and then provide to my lamier the constructive design of the part without giving it the development. In this way, however, he must remake the piece every time and develop it by losing a tide of time. Since I know how much my lamierist withdraws for every sheet thickness, i.e. I know that for a 90° fold that measures 50mm per fold on a thickness of 2 mm the development will be 50mm + 50mm(flange lengths) - 1,8mm (lamierist retreat)...how do I create automatic parameters on sw that allow me to correctly draw developments? for every sheet thickness Is there a kind of way with the auge tables, etc., which already owns the programme? Do I need to create another table? ?
Can anyone help me? ? ?
thank you very much to all and good evening:biggrin::biggrin:

hi I faced your same problem using the fold tables with the bd factor calculation
I have an excel file for each folding quarry, inside there are tables for each thickness that you can bend with that quarry, and for each angle there is the express retreat in the same way that you have.

I leave my tables, which will definitely be adapted with your parameters (and copied into your sw folder where you have the fold tables), at the time when you create a piece of sheet in the side menu, the option "use gauge table"
select the table that matches the quarry you want to use*

automatically you are proposed only and only the thicknesses usable with that quarry and the rays relative to the knife (we use only r=0.8 so my tables have only that compiled field)

under "folding tolerance" select "folding table" and set the same table

give the ok and the piece will use that table for all the folds you will make,

* rule for quarries to use: thickness x 8 and find the right quarry, for example 2mm x 8 = quarry 16, 3mm*8 =24 (we have the one from 25 and then select the one)

if the length of the flap is less than half + material thickness than the quarry then you will have to choose a smaller quarry
for example a piece of 2mm has a flap of 10mm... 10(dim ext fold)+2(material thickness)=12 which is greater than 16(standard dig for 2mm)/2=8, then quarry 16 ok
same piece but with flap of 5mm 5+2=7 which is less than 8(cava16/2) then you will need to use a quarry of 12 (12/2=6) otherwise being the goal of the quarry lower than the length of the flap the piece "falls" to the inside of the quarry without being properly bent.

purtoppo solidworks automatically completes the missing corners, in case the fold is different from 90°, its calculation and proportional type, i.e. if at 90° to 45° to take 2 to 135° will take 6 etc. that for the probes that we made this rule does not work, for example bending 8mm to 90° in the quarry from 50 the development shortens of 14mm, bending to 45° sw calculated in auotmatic 7 but from our tests it should be removed only 3.75 to the development. then the table will be filled every time you make "new" corners with the right value of the test, after which sw automatically will again make the proportions though taking into account the values already entered. for example, a 57° bend will have a calculated proportional withdrawal between 14(90°) and 3.75(45°)
