Good day, I've had the need to work with ansys lately, and for this reason I started to perform some simple static verification (to initially take hand) , coming from a different software (star ccm+ ). Currently changing work, it was necessary to take hand with ansys that I had got to use it sporadically at university. In particular I wanted to ask for advice on a simplified verification of a model that I currently (for educational purposes) have in charge.
the model is symmetrical long x and z, so I set the symmetry constraints with the orthogonal axes; following the fourth model for the simulation of the bolt element I simplified the bond of the bolt and nut , set the dado-bullone contact type no separetion , ametric contact with bolt thread (by setting of primitive diameters and step ) ; set the axistra contact plate to finish setting the analysis set in 2 step where as first step go preload the bolts, and as second step block the preload and insert the force. for simplicity I insert an image of the study. I very gladly accept suggestions to get a correct way of proceeding if you feel the incorrect set, or the incorrect set constraints. Thank you in advance for your collaboration. Good job
