st6 preview drawings pdf - vb6

Hello everyone, I have a problem with st6.
my company has decided to update if from release 15 to st6 (!! ) and now I have to update my software

made with vb6 to see only the preview of the drawings by selecting the code from various tables.
with the old release I used the ocx of if by associating the dft, but now it has decided to use the converted designs in

pdf format.
I tried to use the official ocx of adobe but I read that according to the type of version of the reader you might have

In addition, I would not like to see the problem again tomorrow, which will update the reader to a new version.
Is it possible to use an external ocx to adobe? Do you have any advice on this?
or do you have any other suggestions?

I use a shellexecute so the pdf file opens with the program installed on the pcs without compatibility problems.
times to view the preview or to open all pdf are equivalent.

http://www.debenu.com/products/development/debenu-pdf-library-lite/I have no idea though if the lite version can show the pdf inside a form because it is something I don't need.
