Hello, everyone. I'm facing a problem that I can't really solve: I modeled the impeller of an axial pump and would like to analyze the intensity of the centrifugal forces that unleash in particular on the foot of the blades in the presence of a very high rotation speed (8000 rpm). someone politely explains how to impose, once set the type of material and built the mesh of the impeller (mode + blades), the constraints and forces corresponding to the case in question?
I have imposed, for what concerns the constraints, "displacement = 0" in all three directions on all surfaces of the rotating hub where this will fit into the transmission shaft. for what holds the rotation motion, I introduced the inertial option -> rotational velocity -> components. so I could fix a point of the rotation axis (0,0,0) and the components of the angular speed vector (0;0;0;0,838 rad/s).
in this way, however, the simulation is left, because it immediately stops with the error message: "an error logged inside the solver module: general error".
I'm really set!
thanks in advance to those who can help me:redface:
