sw - threaded shaft and holes (from guided creation) tied

Good morning to all, :wink:

I have a set where there are two threaded shafts (made with a simple cosmetic thread) and perforated pieces with creation wizard holes.
I would like that by changing one of the holes or one of the trees to change automatically even what it is coupled with, as happens in each top-down set.

Would you know how to do that?
I tried with equations but it is impossible to establish unique parameters for all diameters-hole and those of the trees

the problem is that for a m18 the hole created is of ø20 and the shaft with cosmetic thread is ø18 and I do not know how to tie them correctly in view of any modification

you meant the processing measures, not the placements.
In this case I think it is not possible without equations, because the hole is given precisely by the diameter of the tree and the step of the thread.
in addition to the fact that changing only the measures the words on the feature manager remain unchanged (you will have for example m20 even if the measures are of a m12) with the risk of confusion if you take the job after a while.

you have to do together the use of smart fastners that make you in conjunction with the positioning of screws, bring in the parts the functions of passing hole and threading.

This is the only way to do it properly.
However, if you have a tree designed by you, it's pretty complicated because you're not using toolbox.
