table with autocad lt 2014

Good morning to all,

I have pieces in 3d (actually total of some industrial equipment) format dwg.
I am looking for, to make documentation, the way in which to put these overalls at the table.

on the pc on which I work at the moment I autocad lt 2014.
it is possible to make (and if you like) the table with such software or I have to force to get the full version (legally)

thanks for the help in advance!

The second you said

Thank you so much!

I started the test of autocad 2015 full version and the command is fabulous.
Too bad you don't see all the details.

I'll explain. .
I have a big total, with a few hundred pieces.

at the moment when I try to make the table put away some of the pieces disappear and some things are suspended and the edges are not where they should be (I checked geometry several times and I can't solve)

Any idea what that could be?

Thank you very much, I will try to solve and in case I say what the problem is.
Unfortunately they are confidential files and owners of the company for which I work and therefore I cannot share, unless I want to leave the company and receive a good complaint :d

and at the moment I would avoid!

Hi, I always answer, because we say that I found the solution.

the used command was viewbase, introduced by the 2012 version of autocad.
allows you to create a table with pieces aligned automatically.

in practice objects are not recognized as such by autocad, so I can't put them on the table.

normally this procedure is followed, as explained on the site of the autodesk (after complicated research I came out this I quote testually)

you need to convert polyface meshes in your drawing to surfaces in order to see them in views created with viewbase command.
you need to execute tree commands - at first check that smooth level is set to 0, than convert polyface to mesh, then convert mesh to surface:

command: facetersmoothlev
enter new value for facetersmoothlev <1>: 0
command: meshsmooth
select objects to convert: 1 found
select objects to convert:
command: convtosurface
mesh conversion set to: faceted and optimized.
select objects:

this series of commands leads to two possible solutions
1) solve the problem
2) do not solve the problem because autocad does not recognize the geometries and when it creates the mesh it makes them circular and instead of a prism you get a plate. in this case, but it is still not mine, if you know the source software you could find the suitable libraries and make the conversion "liscia".

otherwise use viewport.. is more artificial, but easier and always works.
