Good morning.
I have been trying to find a sensible and precise solution to my problem for a couple of days: for use (study engineering but I dedicate myself to photography) I have put to bring back to the modernity an old irony 7.5 (I put at the bottom of the post a link for images on google)
and I would like to give back the cover in leather that I removed by replacing it with a mimetic car film.. . .
the problem is to take measures! There are many outstanding issues such as taking curved rays to the corners and measuring accurately despite the three-dimensional shape... do you have any advice to give me?
now as I had now thought, through the application of paper scotch to understand at least the total length of the machine, but it is not a very precise method. . .
I know that maybe it's not a very forum-related speech, but actually I think it's the only place to find useful answers!
as special precision tools I only have a caliber, for the rest nothing (although I actually would have access to a numerical control machine, but I don't want to waste time and money for something so hobbistic!)
Thank you.
