Hello everyone
I have to make a modeling of a particular cmt-tmp. there will therefore be a more hard surface layer and a softer central area.
Do you have any suggestions to shape them?

I tried several times to shape the condition of maybe 2 mm cemented and the rest of the material in the reclaimed state. are solidworks or inventors modeling substantially two different solids together or multibody part for solidworks. when you use the fem module from different materials to the two bodies just. At the end the behaviour is similar to both the base material and the cemented material, and you will find that it only changes the value of rm and rp0,2 therefore of the safety factors.

I don't see what material you're using. However if it is a cementing and tempering steel we are talking about 18crnimo4 and similar. find the sheets on lightfin and steel ims.
the elastic module does not change. will vary the hardness and then rm. on the material boards there are the hardnesses accessible and from them you get your parameters.
