Hello everyone! My laptop is dead and when he decides to do it? at the beginning of my lessons! then alas I have to buy a new notebook this week a faithful substitute.
I did a two-day search uninterrupted so as to simplify things and analyzed these brands: sony, asus, of the, hp (lenovo and toshiba are excluded because they have sites from drunk web designers). I did a practical table so that you can help me choose easily
use: artlantis, v-ray plugin on sketchup, render on kerkythea, 2d autocad and 3d realizations of neighborhoods with 100/200 buildings but extrusion of smooth solids with relative application of materials and render and finally a little multimedia, movies out of house and things so. I have a fixed pc with i5 quad-core and nvidia picture. So this laptop shouldn't be my point of reference, but it should be my shoulder when I'm at university so it must be in the first light and have an excellent autonomy.
I asked four of my colleagues who are graduating in my own course so that I could consider them as a starting point. they faced it with these four laptops (securely hours of rendering except for the latest product but still they ended with good votes).
Those sony are customised and I've put even more expensive because I have to change my current laptop so maybe I can do something to you. because it has nothing interesting at little price. also the last two as you can see do not have dedicated card and here arises another question: how much does the dedicated card do, for what I would like to do, compared to an integrated one like the hd4400 of haswells? from the answer changes the search that I have now permeated on the need for a dedicated tab.

- toshiba satellite l500-157: processor intel core 2 duo t6500 2,10ghz, graphic ati radeon hd 4570 with 512 mb dedicated, hard disk 500gb, ram 4gb.
- acer travelmate 6593g: processor intel core 2 duo t9400 from 2.53ghz, graphic ati mobility radeon hd3470, 256mb dedicated, hard disk 320 gb, ram 4gb.
- asus u36sd-rx013x: processors in5, 2410m, 2.30, graphica geforce gt 520m, hard disk 640 gb, ram 4gb, weight 1.4 kg
- asus s56cm: processor i7-3517u from 1,90 ghz to 2.40 ghz, graphics nvidia ge force gt 635m with 2 gb, hard disk 500 gb + 24 gb ssd, ram 8gb (identical to the model s56cb below reported if not for the graphics card and is what has been most proximate in the last 5 year material for renders).
