Dear students of the forum, if you use vectorworks designer scholastic, I announce that is now available download of the 2011 version from the site

these news regarding the 2010 version:
• integration 2d/3d. our software now, more than ever, has a real 3d modeling environment. 2d planar objects can be created and modified in a planar context, where they are displayed with all their attributes. users can work in high/plant view as they are usual, or switch to a 3d view and continue to operate in the same way with the same tools and usual operations.
• improved bim (building information modeling) functionality. vectorworks architect is even easier to use and its potential, new tools and new functions will help you to structure and complete your projects faster and better while you communicate and exchange your documents with partners and colleagues. Thanks to the new space planning functions, the new 3d components of the walls, the new management functions of the floors can now be designed with an even greater degree of operational freedom.
• new generation rendering. the module renderworks 2011 is faster, even more immediate to use and allows to achieve qualitatively higher results. renderworks now integrates the cinema 4d r12 rendering engine of maxon and has been optimized to operate on systems to 32 or 64 bits – therefore without any predefined limit in the management of all available ram memory; It is also able to use all processors present in the system, thus reducing calculation times in scalar terms.
p.s. a council: the new version implements the watermark (the writing that we must support in the press..
) also in the working session! I was sincerely annoyed because I had to find it in the middle whenever I pulled a line, so I wrote to the videocom that promptly explained the method to disable the writing (obviously during the press remains.. :frown
: file > document settings > drawing size, then remove the check from "mark filigree text".
