viewer stl file, iges and prt of large size

at work I need to open stl, iges and prt files, containing 3d scans, very heavy (average 500mb). Can you recommend a 3d freeware viewer that also allows measurements? I have no experience in this regard and I have no cad modeler available

Moreover, not having a workstation, do you think that with a pc of these features it can be possible to open them? (i5-4300m, ram 4 gb, 64 bit,

I tried to do a search on the forum but found nothing help.
