therefore at the moment your circle is not a polyline; if it is so obviously you can't inspect it if not in print or displaying thick lines that would involve all entities.
you have to turn the circle into polylinea and only then you can manage its thickness.

very kind this is an acceptable solution, only question, can I increase the number of vertices?
