Good morning to all,
I am new to the forum, it is the first time I write.
with the ansys version 17.2 I want to create the materilae answering the lamellare wood gl24h. so from the general_material section I created the material and inserted the various parameters I found in the technical sheet. for density, tensile and compression residence I had no problems, while for the young module and the g cutting module, I have boredoms. In practice, importing from the column of the filters the area relative to the isotrope characteristics of the material (such as a structutal steel, stainless steel, aluminum...) inserting and pairs to 11500 mpa and g equal to 650 mpa the values of the bulk modulus and the coefficient of poisson become inverosimili and gives me error. the problem is that from the technical sheet I only have these two terms to define the deformability of the material and ansys do not suit those values (probably g is too low).
How can I handle the situation?
Is there anyone who can help me?
thanks in advance
