Bye to all,

it is possible to create a start part in nx, as in pro-e, or a model that is loaded in the phase of new file.. where I define all the variable background settings etc...? ?
if I have to subsequently create the cartilage for drawing table..How do I make the variables defined in the model appear in the table?? (material. .description, etc.

Thank you from now on for your help and your time.

greetings

there are various ways,
the most used is to configure all variables and settings called default user.
or you can use templates

but the configuration is a rather delicate procedure to be carried out usually only once, then you save the configuration file for the releas that will come.

... remember that:
- if you use the dpv to configure everything you need to use the "blank" template
- if you use the start part to configure everything non use the "blank" template

hello matrix, can you please clarify this concept better?
Thank you.

Thank you.
It's simple. .
If you use the "blank" template all parameters are read from the dpv, if you use any other template the parameters are read by the template and not by the dpv.

What is best practice?
define the parameters within the dpv that contains them all, then create the various templates using a session with the correct dpv.

I'd say I understood the concept.
I don't know where the templates are to edit or replace them.
I would say that for the idea that I have work that I have to do, I would be useful to be able to configure a start part where I can define the layers of work, and the variables to appear in the table.. If then I could make a mask that I just click on "new" I repeat the compilation of variables would be the top.. but I realize that they are things that maybe only a super power ranger administrator!! :
How can I pass the variables defined in the start part, in my cartilium? ?

if your problem is in drafting you better create patterns (carts ) to insert to the need
while to fill in the folder insert in your template the attributes that are recalled .
compilation of the table of variables can be done with the application if you have Moldovawizard
or you can use an expression system where there is a variable on purpose,
but the streets are so many that a solution could not be valid while others do.
better to have a more exhaustive picture possible

thanks for the attention.

the picture is very simple.
with pro-e poso define in the start part a list of variables to be compiled, e.g. design name, cod. revision, etc.
Once I go to create the table the system, it goes to read in the annexed part and connects such variables and puts them in the cartilage, where I placed the same variables.
Surely nx can do the same thing, but I can't understand how. :)

then I am open to use better and faster systems that allow me cmq. to maintain in relation the variables on model and table in a unique way.
I still play with the system used by pro-and because I knew that, but in nx 4 I don't understand how I can do it. . .

thank you for your help

Unfortunately it is not exactly like this:
There are three environments that overlap, the first is the template, then some settings are taken anyway from the dpv (although not present in the template) and third are also stored 'local' settings.
try, for example, file-new, using a template, then go to the same preferences and change some settings, go out without saving anything and return with the template you will find those settings.
