I have never done it so I have no experience in this matter, but it should be all online. Have you looked at the solidworks website?

a curiosity: why would you want to certify yourself? what level of certification would you like to achieve?

Just to do resume, I care a lot.

cswp (certified solidworks professional) is the mechanical modeling course of solidworks related to individual people. the costs are as follows link.

that base is formed by 3 segments from 24.74 euros per one for a total of 74.22 €.
then there are advanced specialist modules.

However, it is necessary to have original software to support the exam and it can be considered after 30 days if it did not go well.

at the end of the test is issued certification usable for several things. on the website everything is found.

time ago there was the possibility to get free and online cswp and cswa for those who had purchased solidworks, supporting the only exam (all but trivial).
the cswa I got it, the cswp instead not (of simulation I did not know a snitch).
hear from local retailers.
I don't know how much this certification is really taken into consideration and if it's worth spending such a figure to do resumes. Maybe as a company.

but to me the prices seem more than abordable, 74 and 110 euros approximately!
Maybe the courses will cost a little more.

in fact they have always paid 100 euros per hour for anything that excludes from the contract stipulated in assistance. the professionals fan to pay. exaggerated figure but they have always been like this, even if they go out there is the same, maybe they ask you out.

we in 2009 managed to tear him 5 licenses 3 of which stan-alone
and two fleeting and 7 users to the course of 5 days.. .
the cost for those five courses had been invoiced to 2500 euros in total.

If you look at the site, for cswp, there are examples exercises of the exam. I looked at them and then I jumped (obviously successfully at the first attempt:biggrin

I would like to buy 1book equally, certainly there are many things that I do not know. I solidworks learned it from self-taught, I found it installed in the computer dv working, I easily learned the main functions (use inventor) to work there but I had a lot of time to experiment

a book is always money spent well (or almost) and something to learn you will find anyway. the cswp exam is however quite simple, you do not need special knowledge to enclose it.
