check welding symbols

Hi.

I am kindly asking you for help in interpreting these welding symbols. I admit I can't fully understand the meaningless.

the first is a mystery seems a "v" welding but I do not understand why the symbol is rotated by 90°. the vertical section to left what does it mean?
the second is a corner cord on both sides, but that horizontal line what does it mean?

I think it's someone who doesn't know how to draw, doesn't know norms or has special internal regulations... because neither of them is known.

Your luck that you are so young...
the first indicates a v welding between two head-to-head plates. It's the classic indication that we used for bridges or bands.
the second indicates an angle welding performed on both sides for example, soul and piattabanda welded on both sides.
If I have not been clear tomorrow I place some old drawings bearing such indications.

Here they are, I attach an example in which you see both symbols.
vertical tract and horizontal line indicate that welding is continuous.
the fact that the symbol is horizontal does not mean anything special.
in the example that I attach is horizontal because placed on the line of union of the two plates.
