scale a design

Hey, guys, I have dwg boards that I'd like to have in one drawing board. Some of these are drawn in other meters in centimeters how do I put them all in the same scale? Also when I start a new table if I want to work with the drive set by autocad I am forced to zoom in to see my design, so doing the grid disappears completely. Does any of you know how to handle the problem?

p.s. : I use the 2013 autocad version for mac!

Bye.
Your problem isn't clear to me, can you post an image? However in autocad it is good standard to draw in scale 1:1 the object. Be careful to configure the measurement unit in your preferences: meters, centimeters, millimeters etc.

if you then need to print in scale, then go to the layout window, button down. from here create a "view", with the command "_viewports", that you can change to show the object as you prefer. from the view property menu you can also set the drawing scale. if you want more views in the same sheet add "view". even if it is common practice, it is to avoid polluting the press directly from the "model" window. You must use that "layout". Good job.

you have to use the paper space (i.e. basic you have set the printing from the paper space 1:1 in mm).
for scale within a window is worth the report:
(measuring unit expressed in mm / scale factor)
where by scale factor I mean that number f put in the classic 1:f ratio
a way to set the scale is to double-click within the window and give the command:
zoom (measure unit expressed in mm / scale factor)xp
after it is worth blocking the view.
example:
drawing in m in scale 1:50 => coefficient to be used for zoom 1000/50 = 20
zoom 20xp

drawing in cm in scale 1:200 => coefficient to be used for zoom 10/200 = 0.05
0.05xp zoom

design in mm scale 1:10 => coefficient to be used for zoom 1/10 = 0.1
0.1xp zoom

Of course, from what you say you have a single scale factor to use but you have to remember to take into account the units of measurement with the procedure I have indicated.

time ago I wrote this program http://www.cad3d.it/forum1/showthread.php?18852-gestionefl-impaginazione-nelle-schede-di-layout&p=173934&viewfull=1#post173934to simplify the procedure. if it can be useful.... .
Now I'm reviewing it and as soon as I've finished the post.
