Good morning.
First of all I apologize if the section is not right, but I found nothing else.
I wanted opinions on this 2d design software and any pro/compared with respect to autocad lt.

definitely a pro is that it is free. then if you already have solid edge and need to produce only 2d boards you can always use the same platform

as pro you have that is parametric (I don't think lt is), as well as free. an advantage of autocad instead is that you find many third-party libraries, as well as various applications.

to know how to use it does everything with solid edge 2d, but sometimes it's a little sniffy. I have to study in 2d sincerely use more, and so I see doing by other colleagues who use this soft.

if you are looking for something very similar to autocad but that is also free for commercial use, take a look at draftsight.

Autocad bookcases are directly usable from solid edge without conversion.

in the end it is only a matter of habit, after years of work with solid edge the few times that I have returned to use autocad was a drama (and think that I worked for 7 years with autocad).

I find myself very well with it even in 2d.
the idea that it is Moroccan to me comes from the fact that very often those who use it if they learned it to use only for the 3d (and the relative masses on the table) and never had time/mode to deepen the dft environment.
in my experience, once you set shortcut keys for a dozen recurring commands, you work very shipped.
