move parts to the asses?!?? ! ? !

Hey, guys.
is a settimna that I work with solidedge, coming from the solidworks world I find it difficult to move the parts inside the axis, in solidworks just drag with the mouse any part, that will move into the rope of the constraints that it has, while in solidedge when I click on a part I copy a "timon" with arrows.... is there no different way to move the parts? ? ?

There is a command to which they gave a very strange name and therefore it is difficult to find that it is called "transcina component" :wink:

the "timon" serves to move \ copy not respecting the constraints and is very useful in the design phase \ construction of the axieme.

I've been using solid edge for 15 years and the times I need it were really few, I'm not surprised that your partner wasn't aware of it.

consider that while positioning components, using the "flash fit" mode you can drag the component while selecting the faces.

since the "timone" was introduced (which is then called "volantino") is my main and preferred tool to place the components together.

Maybe look at some tutorials on these topics and if you have any doubts ask yourself.
