rotate along an ellipse

Good morning.

Can someone tell me how it is possible to rotate a profile along an ellipse? by means of the "ruota" command it is possible to do so only along a circumference, while I would like, as predicted, to rotate my profile along an ellipse.

Hi.

1) the wheel command, in addition to the profile, requires a rotation axis and an angle (or points, lines etc. that still return an angle) producing as a result a profile that rotates by force around a board positioning on a circumference.

2) if you want to place it on an ellipse, you have to build it to put the point that interests you and then after turning, run the operation "transla" by moving it to the point.

3) if you want the profile to be even normal at the ellipse (and not at the circumference), you have to put a normal plan and change the reference of the sketch

4) or more comfortably use the sweep command to generate a surface that then intersects where you need it.

Thank you for the answer.
practically when you hadn't answered me I had already imagined and started doing so. I asked if there was a command similar to "ruota" for the ellipse only for the need to do it parametric and so as to reduce the number of parameters, but yours seems to me the most correct and simple way, so I just have to put myself under to fix all the parameters as simple as possible.

if you can't reduce the parameters to the minimum you need, post an example that we try to simplify it or if you need to make a power copy
