I introduce myself, my name is cleto and I am of napoli even if for business reasons now I am trevisod (in fact I take the opportunity to say that if there is someone in the area I would be happy to know him since I do not know anyone here..ehheh)

work as a designer for a company that manufactures converting machines (fitting of fabrics)
I grew up with solidworks (which I miss so much), during my internship in germany I got to use ptc creo and buttar blood on ansys with fem analysis. now in the company I am using solid edge st7, a little ostico... but this passes the convent ehehhe.

between my past experiences I can tell you that I have created a cnc milling machine and for a couple of years I have passed to a 3d printer using simplify3d.

Hello, everyone! are luca, former solidworks user. for my new work I have as a mission to insert today's management and design technologies. plm\cad3d. I come from the solidworks world but I "say" seen and played with creo\inventor\solidedge. In the end I set myself up and I will continue without exceptional discounts....with solid edge. Why?
I really liked the possibility of modifying/creating with synchronous modeling, or parameterizing with the order.
I liked the possibility to create the simplified versions of the assemblies without sacrificing commercials or other...
the part of the sheet seemed more complete and effective.
We will have to make big assemblies and use 2d layout. I like the fact that I can open and manipulate the 2d with the same program so as not to use another program.
I write to you because you are much more experienced than me, indeed I practically don't know anything compared to you. I would like to know, if possible; predictions and shortcomings or everyday problems regarding the use of the program, reliability and stability. Thank you very much. Good job. ♪
