Hello everyone, I am new on the forum so I apologize if I place in the wrong section.
I have a problem with the application of a force on a certain area of a beam. in practice I have a beam to t and I have to apply a force on a circular area on one of the bases of the beams; Obviously the force allows me to apply it either on the summit or on the whole base or on a edge. on the design modeler I created a new plan and I created the circumference, but once I pass to the model the sketch is no longer present. Could someone advise me what to do?

you have to perform a partition of geometry . I don't remember how it is called the command in ansys but look in the guide of the modeller.. When you create mesh : making circular partitions always distorts the elements

go to model 3d, create a small dig (micron) of the circumference you need and the thing is done.

That's what I did, just that instead of the excavation I created an extrusion, a very small "grade" of micron. thanks for the answer
