plotter hp designjet 800 non funziona con autocad 2018 su windows 10

I replaced my old pc (win7 and autocad 2014 ) with a new one (win10 and autocad 2018), but only now I find that hp does not release any more updated drivers and therefore I find myself with a working but unusable plotter. Googlando discover that it is a problem already dated several years and some managed to make it work with universal drivers, I tried them too but nothing to do. I wonder if someone had the same problem and if he managed to get over it. Thank you.

I think with hp smart print you can solve.

I had your same problem months ago. you need to install the plotter drivers for the hp designjet 500, English version (hp designjet 500 pcl driver (v8.10)). with those works perfectly.
with hp smart print I did not solve anything.

at the moment there is no other solution than installing a microsoft patch (which varies depending on version 10) and temporarily blocking updates.
As for the patch link I can provide you on Monday, distractively I saved them on an unsynchronized browser.

I recently updated the operating system to version10 and with my surprise the plotter no longer works.
I tried to load various drivers but there was nothing to do.
when I step by autocad on the print panel and imposed the plotter hp 800, the name disappears and does not print.
Is there any recent solution?

I just downloaded and installed the drivers attached to the plannerroad message, and my designjet800 connected to ethernet with a win10 pc regularly printed the test page
I am aware that any of the upcoming windows updates could again block everything. .

Now I have to understand how to access the web pages to configure it with static ip, which is difficult because it uses java and all browsers have deprecated it.

If I can do this, I will publish here the solution that worked for me.

I upgraded win10 this morning, and it continues to work
I printed with dwg trueview of autodesk, and it worked.
autocad has my partner, as soon as possible we will try it.
for static ip address, after trying unsuccessfully to configure via web with an old xp win pc (not keeping configuration) I found the way to configure from the plotter panel.
you have to follow the instructions carefully, it is not intuitive. but once you understand it you do a few minutes.
