Hello, everyone.
I need to quickly find the parts I hid through visibility.
Is there a way to do it without having to go into the tree of the structure?
a command like "show hidden parts"?
if you hide parts of a subaxis, then you are no longer in the tree structure, unless you expand everything. But you understand that it is very uncomfortable and a waste of time.
Thank you.

in representations - views - select active view and dx key - all visible elements
Hello, thank you.
Okay, this is good.
next step: can you see only what is hidden and select only what we need to make visible back?

view only what you have hidden I don't think.
However if there is a hidden part, you can set the selection method in priority part, then select a hidden edge and make the whole part visible.

Hello zac,
I come from a long experience with sw and there is the possibility to view through the command "show hidden components" to display the only actual hidden components. then just select the components that interest us, to make them visible again.
So that's why I was wondering if there was such a possibility even in inventor.
I will try to follow your suggestion.
Thank you.

if I understood the request (there was also an old discussion that had not been successful, some versions ago):
dx key on an unblocked view representation > view change > view excluded1617186701430.webp
1617186821482.webpa couple of clicks too much I would say, but it's not bad. Good question lorenz578, I would never notice the function otherwise!

if mine was a good question, your answer/solution is even more:)
great catrafa, even if less intuitive than solidworks, but it's just what I was looking for!! and it is a very comfortable command.
Thank you! !

edit: the maximum would be to have a dedicated icon that directly activates the command, they would avoid a couple of steps

I'm sorry about this discussion I opened.
Is there a way to make all the hidden components visible at once?
I tried to see if there was a possibility to select through window, but you can't.
Thank you.
