For a few months we have been going as a company from inventor to solid edge, and we are having very little difficulty among the many we have encountered the problem of creating reference axes on the assemblies.
I ask you, can you create reference axes on a set? Is there a direct command similar to that for the creation of plans but for axes? .
I hope in your answer, also because I think it really hard to create a sketch. .

my advice is to buy a good 'made-to-measure' training course; knowing already a parametric cad you will be able to become operational quickly.

Thank you very much for the answer is initially the discomfort of the passage was precisely due to the fact of forcing solid edge as an inventor, that with the passing of time is slowly disappearing .however return to my request I need to create a sketch of support , formed by a reticulate of points and lines of construction on which to insert in environment 3d of the perpendicular axes to the passing plan for the various points. the use of these axes I only need to bind the various geometries of parts that will compose the axieme . acting then on the sketch with various quotas I can set different values that should be transmitted on the axes and then on the position of the parts in the 3d environment.

I don't know inventor, but I have to tell you that the solid edge user interface is not an agility monster, maybe because it's been a cad for many years now.

the way you describe it is very similar to what was called "skeleton" or something like that, I realize now that more than 20 years have passed.

in solid edge the tool that most can help you is 3d sketch, find the button next to the sketch.
