Bye to all,
I searched in the forum but did not find an answer. I have to draw the front of a hat. I thought I'd start with a calandered profile, flatten it, cut the contour and then re-cave. all with the sheet function.
In this way if you then have to add holes or other I can work on the plate and then restore the round shape.
I tried in every way but I can't. software: solidworks2022.
Thank you.

Sorry about ignorance, but what are you talking about?
Can you attach a photo a sketch something that puts us in a position to understand the matter and substance of your question?
and a software or design problem?

Why didn't you open the discussion in the solidworks section?
ask moderators to move it

I haven't installed version 2022 yet, but I'll give you information. to solve the solidworks calandrate sheets uses a board that must be right and the generator. if when you trim the sheet the perimeter is fully shaped lose this edge and the sheet does not work anymore.

Thank you very much, that was the answer I was looking for. I tried to hold a border and actually then with the fold command it folded.
