autodesk vault settings with multiple inventor projects

Good morning
I use inventor and I am implementing vault, . in inventor I use several projects (.ipj) , in practice one per customer at least inventor only points to the customer's folders, I am very well with this setting and I am not going to change it. installing vault I realized that it needs the mapping (options) of an inventor project, so I should, depending on the customer I am following, change the mapping on vault every time. Let us understand that we can do everything but if it was a more immediate operation as in inventor it would not be worse. Among other things autodesk does not recommend the use of multiple project files in vault, it seems to me a rather absurd claim, since vault is the inventor's pdm and inventor is made to work with multiple project files (and it also does well).
someone working with multiple project files and vault found a better solution?
Thank you.

quoto autodesk
I initially worked with multiple project files.... a tragedy
with a single project file and set well all the various routes no problem.
Believe me it's just a matter of habit.
then for your initial question of the vault I cannot answer you, I use a third-party pdm which claims a single project file.

thanks for the answer, so the problem of the single project file in pdm is a common need.
for the speech a project file for client I find well divided (in common only content center, design date, libraries ) .
If I can ask, what do you use?
Hi.

if in the project file imposed various "work group search paths" (in your case each path recalls the working area of the individual customer) you have all divided quite well.
I use qs computerImmagine.webp

the problem that using vault I have to make a project file type vault and therefore not from the possibility to set group searches . or in one verse or another autodesk always puts the sticks between the wheels.

I gave you a point without using the vault but with single project file.
Of course, every pdm is set differently.
with qs you no longer use the open or position commands as there is a proper search interface where the user can search for many fields.
