Hello.
I am a new user of this forum and I address you because I don't know how to solve my problem.. .

...I have to model a cylindrical roller bearing cast on a hollow shaft (3d) and with ansys I have done as follows:

-create geometry
-imposed the type elements and characteristics of the material
-genero la mesh of all components
-apply contact elements between roller-piste and between tree and inner ring (contact wizard)
-win the tree at its ends
-apply the load on the outer ring of the bearing
-...

...the problem is that at this point I should bind the reels (it is 30 reels) so that they do not fall down as there is no cage.

...so there is a command/function that would allow me to impose on each roller a bond such as to "simulate" the presence of the cage.

...I imagine that this is a bond that imposes a constant distance between the axes of the rollers...(I would have perceived a constraint equation.... but I don't really know how to do it. . )

....someone helps me? ...thank you.

I.

bye, I have seen that your discussion was a jusot of a time ago;)

but hopeful I try the same... it seems that you know how to shape well with the contact elemepnti. I'm at the first test and I don't understand why it doesn't converge!

or tried some real constant changes, the model... but nothing... Can you give me a hand?

It's a model to simulate something similar to recroaching. . .
