Hello, everyone! I hope it's the right section. Actually it's a little generic and I didn't know what section to create it.
I have the need to use, in my assembly on catia v5r17, unified components such as bearings, bearings, wreaths, rosettes, nuts, screws, wheels and more. I was wondering if there were any websites where I could download this type of components that I could directly insert into my assembly without drawing them.
Of course it does not cost me anything to do it if it is easy components but for example a support or a shaped wheel for question of time but also of unification I would prefer to be able to download them.
Do you know anything? have you found yourself in this case?

premetto che in catia you can use the catalog (instruments-browser of the catalog) where you find screws, dice, washers etc., without downloading them from the sites.

for commercial components, I find excellent and complete the site misumi, just register and get access to the catalog and the data cad (you should download them in step)

iges (old conversion format) converts to surfaces

step (newer data exchange format) converts into solids and surfaces, and into products or parts, depending on how they were generated by the source program.

Hello everyone

I have files with *.easm extension and I would need to open them and convert them to *.stp and then be able to see and analyze them with if.

Does anyone know what files they are? and to whom can I turn for conversion? I also contacted the assistance of if but report that opening *.easm files is not in the features of if.

to date they report me to be files that solidworks 2005 and catia v5 (and its previous versions) would be able to open without problems, can anyone confirm?
