Good evening, everyone. I really need some advice. there are some exams where they require to learn an amount of empirical formulas by memory. but is it possible to really have to take an examination with hundreds of formulas to learn from memory? in the upper ones gave us the manual of mechanics to recover all the formulas to use for the verifications... at university apparently no forms are allowed. . but really the preparation of a student you see from the amount of formuline studied by memory that in a few months I have already forgotten most? in high school we have always been told that the important thing is to know the concepts and how to reason to get to the solution, if the theory did not study it, the formulas will not serve you to nothing. University seems to have been made 100 steps back... I understand if they were formulas derived from theorems demonstrated in lesson, but unproven formulas makes no sense to have them learn by memory... for charity some learn them but you can never remember them all to perfection. you risk compromising a preparation of weeks and months for having confused a value of a constant with another...
Would someone really know a tip to remember a high amount of formulas? Doing a lot of exercises apparently is not enough...
Thanks for the attention, good evening.
