is available today the new version 2014 of the cad alibre (v. 15 build 15081).

users in update contract must login with username and password in http://www.alibre.com and proceed to the download page, the 32 or 64bit executable will automatically provide all updates.

users with expired update contract (and anyone wishing to try this solution) can download the demo version of the new software creating a new user profile from the green button "get free 3d cad" in http://www.lista.it/alibre/tutorials.html using a computer where a previous version of our cad has never been installed.

to try for free features not provided in the demo so downloaded (e.g. sheet development and import solidedge, solidworks, inventor etc.) write to [email protected] for activation for a month with enabled saves.

the new version 15 (baptized 2014) introduces various corrections and improvements to version 14 (baptized 2013) presented a few months ago and above all will integrate with all other software of the 3dsystems.

to this end the new name of the three levels is proposed as follows:

1) cubefy design (ex geomagic design alibre personal/standard edition) for domestic users

2) geomagic design elements (ex geomagic design alibre professional) first level for professional users and companies

3) geomagic design (ex geomagic design alibre expert) full level for professional users and companies

Starting today with the highest level of the cad, i.e. with geomagic design, dynamics for geomagic design is provided free of charge, i.e. the simwise motion both 32 and 64 bit, including in the cad list.
users of the old expert version of the alibre cad can get dynamics for geomagic design at a symbolic cost (199 euros) as in http://www.lista.it/alibre/nastran_motion.htmlis also available simulate for geomagic design, or simwise 4d.

the service pack 1 of geomagic 2014 (v.15088) is available today.
all users who have installed the previous version (v.15081) can install the update by starting geomagic and from the home window find "check for updates" from the "help" menu.
older users (e.g. v.15072) must login in www.alibre.com with username and password and proceed from their download page to remake the installation.

a great (and right) demand returns the free viewer of the geomagic cad (ex alibre).
the new version 16.0.1.16490 of the cad, in fact, if started in the absence of a regular purchase license, or downloaded in demo and once exhausted the trial period to enabled saves, it turns into a free viewer without time limits.
