alternative to 3dvia composer

I wanted to ask if someone knows an alternative to 3dvia composer.

I heard about a software called "max star" or whatever. Unfortunately so far I have not found any information.

Do you know any of this software?

What does the 3dvia composer do? produces a xml file to be sent to view the interlocutor without mandragli the real caia models?

3dvia composed is a software in the plm field used for the creation of technical manuals such as:
- instruction manuals
- assembly manuals
- manual parts lists
- animations
etc.

an alternative is document3d of the quadrispace less "figoso" but much cheaper with many more options, the only flaw, does not open the catia source models.

hi to all, if not erro, the project 3dvia was abandoned stopping at v6 2014 or down of them ...

any valid alternative to suggest?
Maybe even free?
(especially for video creation presentation machine)

to do some manuals we used corel draw technical suite, opens parts and products, and manages variations of exponents; for the type of management, I found myself better than composer (proven for a month)
I also needed latex 3d to manage the caty files, it seemed to come on the 500 in total.
