autocad 2012 permanent license that no longer activates

Good evening,
I write you on behalf of a friend (I use inventor and autocad I don't have it)
he bought in 2012 an autocad license (not mechanical) , he no longer updated it because for what he has to do is more than enough. Now he broke his hd and replaced it, autocad no longer allows him activation. He called, even two retailers (his no longer exists) and told him, without too many explanations, that if he does not take the activation he must buy a new product, he certainly is easy. I think it's crazy. .

ps: yes, legally is autodesk reason. Apparently in the license then your friend will find written that they can.

1. buy a carcad rental 2023
2. buy license of a product based on autocad oem (if needed I can give you a couple of names)
3. acquires license of a clone of autocad (e.g. zwcad or progecad)

a "perpetual" license that expires? It's funny, I'm sorry to read that there are those who justify this aberration. Unfortunately, cause is now improbable but it would be all.

I just wrote that, listening to those who know, among the small lines of the eternal perpetual license, there is written that they can do it, and you buy the product accept this thing.

So one thing is the right monkey that goes up to who had ten licenses perpetue-ma-perpetue-only- until-decide-che-lo-siano and you feel answer "not you activate them anymore", an account is to sue when ad's attorney says "read the art. tot subparagraph tot of the license" you purchased in 2010, there is written that to can decide at any time not to activate the license.

These included clauses would all be to be verified, an account is to say that autocad2012 is no longer supported, another is to eliminate the possibility of using it, are two very different concepts between them.

That is what I am saying, because I am not in the matter (they are among those who do not read the terms and conditions of use) , I think this is a clause for Italy (and a few other countries certainly only European). a little as it happens here for private property, you pay us taxes, but it is yours until the state decides to expropriate it, besides a few spices and paid in decades. In america this is absolutely not the case, private property is sacred, no matter what, so I'm almost sure that a license sold as a permanent, can be activated even after 30 years.

I agree in full but for this reason a class action should be made, a single user or a small number of users can not cause autodesk, eat you at breakfast. This obviously in Italy, in America little Mr. no one can put on multinational knees.

The only way to get away from these things is to make a backup of your system so you can migrate it to another system in case of computer trouble.
