autocad 2022 license to life at €70: what is the trick?

Of course they take advantage of it! I am there to make money, not to do good to others;)
but the annoying lemon to be squeezed nowadays has so much choice (including open source), so if it remains to be squeezed from software house means that it is not so desperate, or are we talking about sick people of stoccolma syndrome?

Consider that with the 90's panda there are roads that you can't even walk through, and this is not a plot of automobile manufacturers. autocad 13? to pull 4 rows every 2 weeks would also be good (as long as they still have a 486 with msdos or win 3.11) but there are free and open source software that to date they make their ass acad 13. Does it make sense to remain fossilized on these dinosaurs? One thing in my opinion frightening is the phrase "why change? I have always done so"

about the rental home compared to the software you're right. But I'll throw you a provocation: even the software you can buy it or make it develop, just have the money (as to buy a house)

making a comparison with cars, it is like saying: cars from now on are granted only leasing. the car that cost 20'000 euros, now costs 5'000 euros per year, and every 5 years you change your car with a new one. in this way all the used will disappear and if you want a car people who first spent 20'000 euros every 10 years, now in the same time will have to spend 50'000 if you can't use the bike.
Nice parallel :-)

for some designers (I think of my current colleague, but also to many previous diquelli) it would be more than enough an autocad of 10/15 years ago, because these people do not work with external files, always draw the same details, in the same way, using the same functions and the same commands. updates are only seen as useless time losses, with the discomfort of having to accept and re-learn where they moved buttons and commands to every new interface redesign (rebbon and similar, but not only).

for them (and I think there are so many in the same situation) makes sense to purchase an acad license 2007/2010 life, installed on a pc crossed at windows7, so that the software does not break; to the maximum you will reinstall acad on a new pc when it will be time, at least until it is supported by windows xx.

for this in recent times are proliferated as autocad clones mushrooms with perpetual license at low price. but without going to the clones, it would be enough to buy a product based on autocad oem and the game is made

in my opinion, for charity then maybe I will be wrong is the same autodesk that manages these unofficial dealers.
I better explain who doesn't want to pay the price in full what he does? Find a patch or crack and use the software, but this does not create autodesk. if instead you have the possibility to buy a tenth also to a quarter of the price you are more eager to do it and autodesk has an income even if minor.

big mistakes...autodesk no longer has any interest in selling licenses to life, and has no revenue from selling "used" licenses

I thank you for the clarification, in fact my premise is in line with your answer.

@reggio are reliable sites?

it seems so, but both sites that write so well of esd [Bleep.com] contain a link of affiliation.... it is their interest to bring clients to esd [Bleep.com]. so in my opinion they are less reliable... .

Besides, giving a quick look, at least the first 3 I opened (autocad, autocad lt and inventor) are edu licenses.

the license is associated with a self-desk account, to use the program you must login directly from the autodesk site, I do not see which "truff" should be there.
I personally took autocad for 1 year, 70 euros, active from more than 8 months, navisworks manage to 80 euros, it works and the only limit is the availability of licenses.
I'm here for now.

on the personal page of my account is not written anywhere, it seems a bit strange....

for safety I have rechecked and yes, it says explicitly on the purchase page that are educational licenses.
I suggest you check the personal page well, it might pop into bad surprises.

in the end of software information should be written the type of license, just out of curiosity, what is written?

commercial license or... what?

theoretically if I don’t remember badly within the account where you find all the products activated, alongside the name should be written in English or Italian student or educational.
example photos attached. photos taken from the internet better specify.

to be sure go to product information > Manage license and you should see if it's a commercial license or anything. in my case I use a nfr and in fact it is indicated:

Okay, I confirm, they're edu licenses.
for those like me, who have no access to student licenses, this remains the only system to have access to self-desk resources.

In fact (because I tried from the autodesk educational site) , if you are not actually a university or high school student certifying through registration documentation at the institution you can download nothing. said this will actually be a scam for charity but it is the only way to officially use autodesk products.
