autocad mac 2011 - slowness issues

Hello everyone
I have recently installed on leopard the free version for autocad students 2011. in using it I am making myself aware of the problems that generate especially in 3d modeling, for example, starting from a 2d plant and carried out the extrusion of some volumes, the 3dorbit slows considerably and from the moment in which I change the volumes through the control points the computer is engaged for several seconds, so volumindonizing the file.
I wanted to know if any of you found the same problems, in the hope that they can be solved. . .

as I have already said in this debate:
http://www.cad3d.it/forum1/showthread.php?t=22780At the moment perhaps even the self-desk staff can solve it.
the problems you encounter are widespread for this first version. in the network you will find, wherever you talk about autocad mac, similar issues.
If everything goes well there is to wait for the service pack. even if I don't think it will solve all these problems.

ok I understand that for now I have to give up the 3d on autocad, we will have to settle for rhino.spero that the autodesk does not vacate the expense to buy an apple! thank you!

If you bought a mac just to work with autocad you're a fool.. .

you with rhino the management of the 3d pretty good and the renderings with 4d cinema are afraid.always on autocad for mac,any know how to go to fish the recover files?

I don't understand why you want to hurt yourself by taking a mac to do a cad and with programs never existed before for that system. when already in wins, consolidated for decades, they can still give "problems".
acad mac is a "poppant", rightly (as always for the new softwares) you are doing as a beta tester, it is not one of the usual "applications" and does not make sense to complain because you know that it is so:biggrin:.
mac is a great car (or better, it was. by now it is all intel compatible as well) where the point of force has remained the operating system. so go well (better wins for sure) but only with its applications (and native cads for mac there are, used those).
to boot and turn under win I take a pc that costs less and load us what I want safely (more or less:smile:). . Of course it won't be so "beautiful"... but I have to work there.

greetings
Marco:smile:

I agree with you sampon, but it is always the usual speech of those who tifa mac and who with windows is well. Luckily I repeat programs cad per mac there are, see archicad that is fine.certo hope that the autodesk best autocad for questions of uniformity.in more we do not forget photoshop and illustrator for mac.
