the service pack again uses the feature related to the series dialog box by introducing a new command, arrayclassic. the option is also introduced to restore the previous snap-type behavior, which you can control through the new snapgridlegacy system variable:
arrayclassic allows you to create copies of objects in a polar or rectangular series with regular spacing.
snapgridlegacy1: Always snap the grid cursor
0: Run the grid cursor snap only when autocad requires specifying a point
