calculation counterweight structure

Good morning to all;
use sw 2020 and should perform a very simple calculation (by manual);
I would like to run it with sw simulation to learn how to use it properly;
I attach image and part of study;
I have a tubular welded structure and at the end of an arm, we will apply a bouncing mass (a big disk);
beyond the section of the overhanging tubular (flex study) --> I inserted a small section tubular to have a high arrow (in order to study on simulation);
I would like to calculate what the possible counterweight to be applied to the structure so that it does not rebound (in static conditions);
Can you guide me in the correct way (step by step)?
I tried to run the simulation but huge counterweight values come out of me;
I tried to save by also putting this part in the file but it does not let me attach (maybe too large the file). Thank you all!

Hi, if I understand your need,
maybe you could use mass property/create mass property function to see where the center is

with a sketch cuts away momentarily all the area right of the mass center and weights
by difference from the total you can know the weight on the left
add or remove weight on one side or the other just

perhaps, if after cutting calculates the partial baricentre and misuse the distance from the center, you can be more precise in placing increase or weight reduction in the opposite part.

I hope you can help.

Usually to put lifting hooks on the tanks I do banally from mass properties the weight measurement, so it shows me xyz of the center of gravity and see if it is placed about where I want it to be.

definitely with the center function mass is more scientific and measuring the delta between the geometric one and the massic one comes for attempts to the right weight with the measure tending to zero.

I don't think of a less manual system.

Thank you all! I actually usually use this manual method; I wanted to learn how to use sw simulation correctly by starting from these simple applications; Can you drive me?

with symulation you need the premium to add gravity and see if the scale goes here or there.

yes I have the premium package just installed; for this I asked two straights because it is not so immediate :-) thank you again!

you have to start with the tutorials, otherwise I lose a lot of time to understand logic and commands. You will see that as soon as you understand you become autonomous for small things.
However it is a complex and not very understandable module.

ok thanks; where can I find tutorials based on the application? exist only those of online sw guides or there are more "dedicated" sites?
