calculation hot stamping force

Good morning!

I ask the whole forum how I can calculate the molding force to produce steel flanges through crank presses. I would need a quick formula knowing the geometry and material of the piece to produce. the result must lead me to choose one type of car compared to another.

are you aware of a formula (or even more) that can help me? ?

are mechanical presses for hot stamping, from 250 ton to rise. it is not the first time that the customer (or presumed such) comes with the design of the flange to produce and asks confirmation of the power of the machine to buy. this applies both to the machines to print, and to the machines to droop.

Now, to do a thorough study I do not have time and at least specific of the molds (dust thickness, possible preform, etc.), but I still wanted to know if, given the geometry of the piece and the characteristics of the machine, there is a formula that allows me to trace back to the force to get the piece as a drawing.

so I should follow that simulation by setting what I miss as "prevision", type of thickness of the gag, etc.?
