in the company where we work we use auton for many years for milling 2.5, 3+2 and 5 axes, now we would like to move to a more evolved cam. after several demos we stayed with powemill and hypermill and we are undecided between the two.
according to you which of the two is more performing and the best assistance?

As for the simulation I have the module of thecm and I can tell you that I never banged, it depends you what you want to simulate since everything is not possible there are a lot of non-manageable things (I saw a little all the cams but nobody simulates everything)

the two mentioned above (hypermill & delcam) are fine, they are able to integrate in the same program turning and milling parts. even if it seems to me to have understood that you only care about the milling (in which case the roster of the contenders widens much) I would keep an eye on a product that can integrate, even with a later upgrade if it is the case, the turning part.
the advantages are multiple, apart from the convenience of programming, the next milling part can take into account the previously turned piece and use it as "grip" avoiding going to work unnecessary parts, or on the contrary, take into account that a part date still has overmetal because it will be removed only subsequently in turning and then avoid going to "slam" etc.
