Hello everyone, I'm a former solidworker from inventor.
I know using inventor 2011 and found no system to configure the parts (ipt), which solidworks had.
what I need is the possibility of suppressing work (or bodies in a multibody part) and then at the table being able to load the desired configuration, a bit like it does on the assemblies (iam).
I had to work with pieces of fusion that have countless works that create a unique chaotic quotation, I wanted to use the configurations in order to create simplified drawings "to cascade" so I would simplify the life to those who have to perform subsequent mechanical processing.
Is there any advice?
Thank you.

One thing that comes to my mind is that you can make welded assemblies composed of a single piece (the crude) on which you can do work together, that you can include/exclude in the table (it seems or all or none, but maybe I'm wrong on this point). I don't know. .

Bye.

I do not know if I understood the question well, but I to create different configurations of the same part with suppressed processing and other activated, I use the "ipart" command, which creates a table in which you can choose which processing to suppress more a series of other useful things.

a little like solidworks does with the "configurations" command.

I forgot: then in the table you can select the combination of activated/suppressed processing that you have previously created in the part using the "basic view" command in the "model status" tab.
so you can choose the configuration that best suits you.
