constant pressure vs cyclic pressure

good morning, pressing a package of partially compressible materials (more felt net), at a constant static pressure of 2600kg (automatic press) you get the same result if we press the package with different cycles reaching a maximum pressure 2600kg ( manual press, reached the maximum pressure this last tends to descend over time) ?
