creation mesh with gambit

hello to all I am a Roman student at the end of engineering and I would have a problem with the mesh of gambit..
I already have the design: a wind tunnel composed of a test room plus part of the diffuser, with a profile inserted in the test room.
the problem is that I have to perform the mesh of this design with at least 1 million cells, but I'm going out crazy, because or I go out of memory or tell me that the cells are too big for the surface under review. .
Can you help me? even for some kind of repetition!

3 years ago, in my thesis, the most complex mesh contained 1502880 cells and the mesh had been made on a pc with 1 gbyte of ram.
I had divided the total domain into modules that could be thought of as logical cubes and therefore discreteized with hexaedric cells using the map schema and submap. In other words, you have to use a little imagination to bring back the domain to a sum of logical cubes (it is not said that it is feasible, if geometry is very irregular).
on all surfaces I had applied boundary layers, which are fundamental to inflate only where it serves.
Anyway I think the "out of memory" error really doesn't mean you're short of ram... You should check what that means.
for the rest the only way to go is to do the exercises of the manual. . .

ei messerschmitt thank you so much!my problem persists...the geometry at the end is not particularly complex... although having done all the possible tutorials I can not move forward and I would start to have some urgency. .
I would really need a hand to move forward, because solved here, I would practically finish the thesis....I repeat, if there is someone of roma that could also give me "repetitions" after compensation (I hope I have broken rules, in case I ask forgiveness) contact me.

I don't know if you still have problems with the discretization of the domain, but it came to mind because gambit gives you the error "out of memory". you are probably working without subdividing the domain into modules, and this way of proceeding consumes too much memory. you have to divide the domain with some logic, and then discrete a partition at a time.
