Good morning.

I am reading the 2014/30/ce directive on electromagnetic compatibility and article 7 "manufacturers' obligation", in paragraph 6 says:

"Manufacturers indicate on the appliance their name, registered trade name or registered trademark and the postal address to which they can be contacted or, where this is not possible, on the packaging or in an accompanying document of the appliance. "

What does registered trade name mean? or registered trademark? where should we be registered?

Is it necessary to record its trademark (type of the Italian trade mark and patent office) if electronic equipment is produced subject to the emc directive?

brand in the sense of corporate logo, something that identifies the company independently, regardless of whether the brand is "registered"
