Hello everyone,
we received a couple of drawings from a supplier (without 3d).
at the opening I find a message of error inherent to the " missing references"
"the files in the following list could not be found or contain the wrong information for the active document."
a link points to a catprodut (presumably the 3d from which drawing derives)
the other to a drawing of "simboli_namesupplier" in a disk them.

I tried to "drop" the link but I don't find the right way. . .

Notes: the drawing has many views and sections
weighs about 12 mega (very seen the product... )

would you recommend me the best way to remove this "mistake"?

thanks in advance to all

if you don't have 3d and don't care....
from drawing let the list of views out, "f3" button.
all selections, dx key, "selected objects" , "island" .
virtually delete contacts with the outside, the file becomes a simple 2d .

or save it as dxf and reopen it...............

Thank you.
;

so doing we drop the 3d and the situation improves, but unfortunately I remain the message inherent a file:"j:\cataloghi\r14\simbolinomefornitore.catdrawing"

not having the source file I guess you don't even load the linked symbols... but I have no idea how to drop it. . .

if I go to edit -links
I see a list of "objects" linked as type: mml

I read that mml is the multi model link
You know how I can drop it?
Thank you.

They would look like cartilage files ................. .

possibly try to make a dxf and then recharge it and save it as catdrawing should work ...................................
deleting all links............ .

links are definitely dropped, but unfortunately the result is not "acceptable"
I no longer have a drawing with the views etc... and the dxf also lost some "written" (probably details).

I have to find the way to "drop" the link to the external file....
:

but what do you need a catdrawing with no more connections to the catproduct?

you no longer have catproduct updates with the risk of having representations of unjust views

If you have 2d symbols in the drawing, try to explode them with the right button you should find the appropriate item.

@mcbramby: unfortunately I can't...internal rows... .
@falonef: the problem is to understand what are the cursed symbols... ;d do you know if there is a macro that "explodes" all symbols?

just go to change -> links and you will see the mml connections.
at that point you notice them and isoli in the drawing with the right button.

to find them can be easy in the drawing make a selection in the cart.
Insepilose symbols will be displayed with 4 squares. right-click the component

thank you all,
Unfortunately, several attempts have not resulted in the desired effect. We proceeded with an artisanal method.
with the next files (if they arrive) we will feel!

there is also the possibility to do tests with the dxf............ .
tools/options/compatibility/dxf, try to "pasticciare" with export variables..................

for posters:
if in the catdrawing there are copied details (ctrl+c/ctrl+v), these create a link to the source file (part,drawing,catalog,...) the easiest thing is to go to the details page and dx button to isolate the details views.
alternative: find the imported details and explore them hoping that they keep the initial properties.
