Good morning.

I need to convert a product dwg with inventor 2018 in compatible version with autocad/inventor 2008. I think I have read that retrocompatibility only works in step of 3 years, but can you convert the file in other ways?

Hi.
files created with inventor versions, cannot be opened from previous versions (eg 2016 does not open files saved with 2018)

if you have to open the file with autocad, you can from table 2d export in dwg 2d autocad format up to version 2000

thank you, I also discovered that dwg trueviewer allows to convert dwg to previous versions, "saving" three years in three years
