Hello everyone,
I used ansys for university exercises and now I had to start working from home for a project so I had to install the program on my pc. the version I have installed is however different from what we have in the department and there are commands that do not correspond to those of the professor's slides.
In particular, after performing a structural static simulation on a set that I designed with solidworks, I would need to know forces and reactions between the contact surfaces between the various bodies. in lesson I remember that we inserted the command:
probe--->force reaction--->(location method) Contat region---> individual and select the area of interest--->(extraction) source (underlying element).

the problem is that now on my version does not appear the contact "source (underlying element)" in the section of extraction and the possible selections that are "contact (underlying element)", "target (underlying element)" and "contact (underlying element)" do not give me any results. more in detail also selecting one of the following entries the command of force reaction remains undefined (in the project tree on the left remains the blue question mark as if the command was still to be completed). Unfortunately my professor will no longer be available until January so I wondered if you could give me two straights. I would be infinitely grateful.
Thank you very much in advance.
