Good evening to all,
I'm a mechanical designer and I work in a puddle.
I would like to know if any of you had the same problem as the title. I am learning (and trying ) the software in a self-taught manner.
I need such information to be able to extract the "skeleton" of the structure developed in advanced steel in order to be able to shape it better planned for structural calculation.

Hi.
provided that usually extensions such as ifc, sdnf and/or cis2 are to be preferred (formats that also store type of section, etc.) if I can suggest a make-up, graitec advance design exploits (computer software provided by graitec for free in conjunction with the purchase of advance steel). the above-mentioned exports have a direct icon.
do so: carry out from advance steel as export advance, open graitec advance design, bim card
bim graitec --> import smlx then always on the same card dxf --> export
