help Patran 2010 urgent! ! !

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and I immediately go to the so why I have a big problem and I have to solve it as soon as possible.
So I installed patran 2010 during the installation all ok, when I open patran and open new database to try does not appear to the right the material menu, that to set the properties of the material and consequently to draw bar points etc...... how can I solve this problem? I have already tried to delete and install again, both 32 and 64-bit laversion.

Have you tried to start patran 2010 with old skin?
to do so, right-click the Patran2010 icon and the property voice access the launch command.
to the target item remove the last "-skin" option and patran lanci with the old graphics.
in some video cards I think it works better.
Just tell me if it worked. However if you are in maintenance and turn to the product support you will see that you solve the problem.. .

look I installed everything on virtual machine because I had win7. under win xp worked, I had to reboot it on another virtual hard drive because the other was too small and now it doesn't charge me well skins, I tried to do as you said but ninete. I don't know what to do.... .

look that patran 2010 is certified for win7. did you try to install it?
regarding the virtual machines probably there is a problem of management of the graphic books... is not a recommended installation. . .

then I explain to you from the beginning, installing patran 2010 on win7, both the 64 and 32-bit version, I don't know why but didn't start well. For example, if I did a new file, some screens were not opened, to execute the mask on the right when a new file was opened to decide what type of analysis and the dimnsions of the object, or if I went on the properties, it wouldn't allow me to create a new material if I went on isotropic. I solved this by erasing patran from win7 and installing vm with 64-bit winxp.

yes this is correct, however if in win7 you use the old skin patran2010 works without problems.

look that a release of patran 2010 (20101.2) with patches for win7 came out.
you must have that version to be able to use it correctly on win7.
you definitely have the uncertified release for win7.
