hello to all, unfortunately since this morning I have the need to perform a project on solidedge (I have installed v.2021). I must say that for an endless list of reasons, I have already quarrelled with this program! :
I mean, swx and inv are much more interactive with the user and certainly less farraginous, I have the impression that with if I will at least double click to get to the same result, and many useless km of mouse ...
I kindly ask you how to hide the toolbar indicated in the image below, which from my point of view serves very little and occupies only an update space. Thank you! !

ps) sorry for the stupid question but I am a newbie:)

premise: all those who come from different software always say the same things, but don't worry, it happens to everyone, even when you have to switch from if to another program. every time you change software, before you issue reviews, learn the new philosophy, because if you still reason like with the previous software, it is normal that the new one finds it "farraginoso". However, the toolbars are organized by the "personality" menu that you can access from the icon that seems a minus sign with an arrow down below, which you can see in the acorn at the top of the image you posted.

hello and thanks for the answer. In fact, this is just my first impression, so I hope I'm wrong. Of course the situation can only improve :)
Yes yes I had already gone on the symbol you say, but how much I could deduct it is possible to act only on the quick bar, but not to turn off the bar where the icons of recent commands appear, or is it wrong?! ! ?

Now I'm at 2020, and I don't have that bar you highlight, but still if you click on "customize" opens the menu where you can configure all toolbars. Be careful that it is contextual, so if you start from an asm you will first appear the asm bar, but still always from that menu, selecting the appropriate curtain, you can also configure all other environments of yourself. recommended to save new configurations with a new name, which then you can call directly from the "themes" menu without opening "customize".
Bye.

hi, you can remove the "predict commands" bar like this:

you can turn off the machine learning feature and toolbar predict commands using options in the tab guide elements (window of dialogue Solid Edge options).
SourceAs for solid edge you will learn to use it and appreciate it, it will be a great opportunity to broaden your knowledge.

if you have doubts or even just for a suggestion on how to approach a job you also ask (y)

You were great! Hommage! ;)

I agree 100% with what you said, it will take a minimum of time to know this sw and appreciate its undoubted qualities. the important thing, in my opinion, is always to face every new experience with a critical spirit.

thanks to the availability and good day;)
